The IEEE Nagpur Subsection Congress is an annual flagship program hosted by established Nagpur Subsection.
IEEE NSSC aims to cater and provide some surreal platforms for the students and professionals alike of varied spectrum of interests to showcase and nurture their talent in the respective fields. IEEE NSSC is an annual event which creates a pool of industry leaders, scholars, professionals, and students to come under one roof and share some vital knowledge amongst each other. We are planning to provide attendees with substantial, real-life examples of all sorts of domain of Entrepreneurial, Innovative world, Professional world, Research, Administrative domains, Social segments which will help them improve their interpersonal and professional skills.
Reputed speakers from academia and the industry will provide insights into the aforementioned domains using their work and experience. In collaboration with them, the congress creates a prolific environment for its members to share the best practices in technology, and also spread awareness about the various benefits provided by IEEE.

IEEE, being the world’s largest technical / professional society, is
continuous promotes the
development and application of electrotechnology and allied sciences for the benefit of humanity and
for the advancement of the profession. With the 4,30,000 members spanning across 165 countries of
the globe, IEEE fosters the development of standards, that often become national and international
standards and produces over 30% of the world’s literature in its related fields, publishing well over 100
peer - reviewed journals.
Coming into existance, The Nagpur Subsection was officially
esatblished on 3rd September 2017. It
consists of technical professionals as well as students from various institutions. The agenda behind the
formation of this sub-section is to torch the paths Of Engineering students and professionals, and prepare them
for the competent world out there and to accept the globally posed challenges
confidentally, via various events that we organize to update knowledge and enhace their skill sets.
G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering (GHRCE) Nagpur, established in
1996, is an autonomous institution affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. The institute
became autonomous in 2010 for a period of six years till 2016 and UGC has renewed autonomous status till 2022.
It is ranked 67th PAN India in Engineering Discipline as declared by National Institutional Ranking Framework
(NIRF) 2017, MHRD, Government of India. It is ranked in the band 100-150 PAN India in Engineering Discipline as
declared by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2018, MHRD, Government of India. Institute is also
ranked 69th PAN India by India Today MDRA Survey 2018.
Mr. Nivas Ravichandran is professionally associated with Freshworks as a Product Marketer. He is one of the enthusiastic and a dynamic volunteer of IEEE and he is also leading the Enterprenueship and Internship initiatives of IEEE in India. For his exceptional achievement and outstanding contributions he is awarded with IEEE Young Professional achievement award and he also receieved certificate of appreciation for his valued service and contribution to Electronics and Communication Committee of Region 10.
Mr. Shivam is a Young aspiring leader who is creating an impact on lives of 1000+ students by serving as Vice-Chairman at Students Activities committee. Mr. Shivam has extensively worked in the field of medical sciences by undertaking various projects such as ‘Disease diagnosis of Tissue Connective Disorder’ and 'Breast Cancer Phase Detection using Histopathological Images’.
Sahil Sameer hails from Kerala and is a final year Electronics and Communication Engineering student at Model Engineering College, Kochi. Having discovered the true essence and joy of volunteering, he has served and nurtured as one of the vibrant volunteers of the IEEE Kerala Section for the past 3 years. The year 2018 has been a phenomenal one for him, through which he served as the Student Representative of IEEE Kochi Subsection 2018 alongside reigning the role of Secretary IEEE MEC SB.
Mr. Shashank is currently working at Infocepts as Analyst for almost an year in the area of Developing Cross Platform BI Integration Web Application. He also had a chance to work at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as Full stack developer. His immense involvement and leadership skills made him the Area Director - H5 at Toastmasters International. Though he is a programmer, his passion made him to involve himself in public speaking .
Mr. Hitesh has been working as an Analyst for InfoCepts for the past two years. Prior to that he was associated as an IT specialist at AIESEC, which is the world's largest youth-run organization that provides young people with leadership development, internships and volunteer experiences across the globe. With a passion towards Information Technology, Hitesh has contributed to humanitarian activities as an IT Specialist to the UNDP.
Mr. Hitesh Dewani, Founder-Director of H R Mentors which is a leading MBA test-prep and aptitude training institute having centers in Nagpur & Pune. Having trained 15000+ students in a short span of 4 years, Mr. Dewani is also the Director & The Marketing head of Career Mentors, an upcoming organization that is dedicated to lay the right career foundation for school & junior college students by training and mentoring them on unconventional career options. Hitesh has also been a part of diverse sectors such as Education, Finance, Consulting, & Business Process outsourcing.
John is a Hardware Engineer who works for Amazon as an Advanced Technician for Kindle and Alexa devices. He has been a part of IEEE for about 8 years now and has volunteered/organized many events in IEEE. Professionally he spends his time developing hardware solutions for AI/ML challenges.
He has worked with societies and affinity groups and currently volunteers for IEEE R10 as a member of the ECIM and the Membership Development Committee. He previously worked with HTA for which he has received certificates of appreciation.
A public speaker by choice and a huge lover of technology, Mahesh Rakheja is a technical speaker and a startup entrepreneur. With a keen interest in Cyber Security and Malware Analysis he has represented himself in many National & International conferences like The Hackers Conference, Malcon & many more. He has trained and worked with various governmental departments such as Law Enforcement Department of Turkey, Indian Army, State Intelligence, Police Department to name a few and helped them with detective service projects.
